Do You Know the Power of Leverage, When It Comes to Creating Wealth???

A very simple definition of leverage is;
Leverage is ability to multiply your time through others. As we know time is money. So I would love to say leverage is ability to multiply your time and make money through others. It is leverage that richest people use to keep them richer and richer every day. They create jobs and find people who can use their time to work for the job, and thus impart more time for job creators. This phenomenon of success has kept rich people richer and poor people poorer. Let’s see the example below on the power of leverage.

Imagine you have employed with company X, which pays you 1,000,000 Tshs per month after working 8 hours per day five days per week.
8 hours x 5days/week = 40 hours, then let’s take 40 hours x 4(weeks) = 160hours.
Then 1,000,000 Tshs (your salary) divide by 160 hours = 6250 Tshs per hour.
So you get paid 6250 per hour

40 hours x 50 weeks/year (let’s assume 2 weeks are for vacation, so you are not going to work)

Here you will get 2000 hours of working for the whole year.

2000 x 40 year (40 years is the time for working all your life until you retire) = 80,000 hours.

So you have 80,000 hours of working and making an income for everyday living and for your retirement plan.
If we multiply 80,000 hours with (6250 Tshs your hourly payment) i.e 80000 x 6250 = 500,000,000 Tshs
So 500,000,000 Tshs is the total amount of money that you will make in your entire life.
NOW LET’S HAVE A LOOK ON THIS EXAMPLE BELOW;

If you have 500 people are working for you, and each is working only 2 hours per day
500 people x 2hours = 1000 hours
1000 hours x 5days/per week = 5000 hours
5000 hours x 50 weeks/year = 250,000 hours per year
If one person makes for you only 2000 Tshs per 2 hours,
Then 250, 000 hours x 2000tshs = 500,000,000 Tshs .
Therefore in just one year you will make 500, 000, 000 Tshs.

In your job it will take 40 years to generate such kind of income.

Now we have seen the power of leverage. But it all starts with people, people you will employ to work for you and pay them.

The question here comes; do you have such a capital to employ 500 people to work for you and pay them?? Possibly you might be thinking like, “I will start with small capital I have, and employ 5 people to work for me, with time I will employ more people”. Mmmh! You might be right, but do you know that it will take you not less than 25 years to have a strong business, for you to employ many people and work for you? And offcourse I don’t know your age right now, let’s say your 25 or 30 years old, here the question again comes; are you ready to stay to your goal until you are 50s years old? Am afraid you can’t. You will end up somewhere and give up, as your energy goes down with aging, plus challenges of competitive market, plus frustrations from your employee demanding more salary while no growth of your business. It is tough.

So what to do? If working for 40 years to earn what can be achieved in just one year of focused work isn't insanity?

If 5 people share about company x to 5 people each = 25 people
If 25 people share about company X to other 5 people each = 125 people
If 125 people share about company X to other 5 people each = 625 people (you have exceeded 500 people already)
